American dramatist, musician, and actor Jeffrey Daniels was born on February 19, 1955. He is well-known for his work on stage and cinema, where he has portrayed a variety of roles who move between humor and drama. Numerous honors have been bestowed upon him, including two Primetime Emmy Awards. He has also been nominated for three Tony Awards, five Screen Actors Guild Awards, and five Golden Globe Awards.
